This is the kind of shop I don’t go into all that often because if I did, I would pretty much always be broke. But don’t be like me, okay? The Paper Umbrella is a lovely, independently owned store and it deserves our patronage and support. They carry some of the most beautiful greeting cards in the city, sumptuous wrapping papers and gift bags, journals, origami kits, Moleskine agendas, stationery, fancy writing utensils, sealing wax, reading glasses and clever gifts from across the globe. They also create custom wedding invitations or, for all you brilliant DIY types (and I know there are a lot of you out there), provide you with everything you need to create your own. /LAK
